Spring has returned, but with it has come a scourge upon the fair Barony of Fenix! Riders bearing the banners of the seven deadly sins have invaded our lands and will be holding the field against all comers on May 13. We ask for the help of all Knights, Masters and Combatants at Arms, to help protect our beloved Barony from this deadly menace!

Seven Deadly Sins Tournament:
– Challengers will take the field to impress the ladies’ gallery and strive to be chosen as one of the Tenons of Virtue.
– Remaining fighters will choose a side
– Tournament will culminate in a grand melee of Virtues versus Sins.
– Ladies will also observe the fighting with the purpose of choosing the recipients of the Baron and Baroness’ Golden and Silver Roses

Arts & Sciences Competitions
– If anyone is interested in teaching a A&S class or having a demo (messy demos okay) at our event.
Classes/demos will start at 10am so if interested please PM me a time and class description!

Also at mayday this year we will host a Spring South Oaken Regional Craftpersons Faire. This is a display and demonstration faire with prizes. It’s is to give artisans a chance to display their work and to interact with the populace. This is not the Individually Judged A&S competition that is a pre-requisite for Kingdom A&S faire. See the The KMoAS page for info on Judged Faire. We will have two A&S competitions based around the theme of the event and a couple of prizes for other categories!

One Prize for best Food or Beverage entry.

There will be a lunch tavern on site, as there are few restaurants close by. Lunch is included in the site fee, and will consist of simple but filling fare so our guests can keep up their strength for the day’s struggles.
